Meet Alexia Valenica

Alexia Valencia is a strategy consultant and advisor, with a concentration in fundraising, philanthropy, business development and marketing. She has a skillset for raising capital and creating pipeline opportunities through relationship building, out of the box thinking, and brand matchmaking, blending business and creativity. She has worked with Grammy award-winning artists over multiple genres and has helped launch the careers of established and respected artists. Through her extensive knowledge in various industries and roles, Alexia has aggregated a respected network of clients from different industries and developed an acumen for pitch flow and how best to introduce new concepts. Alexia's international purview into different fields have led her as a strategic advisor to entertainment executives, business leaders, elected officials and philanthropic organizations. Alexia also lends her skills to numerous non-profit organizations helping to advance their visions and missions.

Meet Sacha Van der most Van spijk

Sacha is a professional soccer development coach and academy director turned entrepreneur. He grew up in the Netherlands, where playing soccer quickly became a passion that dominated his life. His playing and coaching career took him from The Netherlands to Belize in Central America and California, where he settled down and started a family. In his current role as Founder and Director of Development at Home Field Advantage, his focus is to develop homegrown leadership and activate communities. The inspiration for this project is Sacha's hometown club, Quick – The Hague, where he started coaching at age fifteen. In the years leading up to the founding of HFA, Sacha studied Kinesiology with a focus on coaching and sports psychology at Cal State Long Beach and received coaching licenses from the KNVB (Royal Dutch Football Federation), USSF (A-License), and FFF / MLS (French Football Federation - Elite Formation License). He worked with Chivas USA and LA Galaxy of Major League Soccer during his professional coaching career and served both the US Soccer and Mexican de Football Federation. As an entrepreneur, he founded the international business development platform HUP (Humans Unlocking Potential) and Home Field Advantage and currently has a management and active recruitment role at New World Mortgage.

 

Meet Barney Santos

Barney Santos has spent the past 19 years building and managing new business ventures in the for-profit, non-profit, academic and corporate sectors. Currently, Barney is the C.E.O. of Gentefy Inc, an economic development company that focuses on investing in people, places and programs that empower creative entrepreneurs to answer the demand of multicultural communities. Prior to becoming the CEO of Gentefy, Barney was the Director at the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at California State University, Los Angeles as well as the Head of Exploratory New Business Models for Unilever Food Solutions and the North American lead for their innovative technology collaboration program, Unilever Foundry. Barney obtained his Masters Degree in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles.
